Our reaction to COVID-19

Update: March 16, 2020 

Together, we are all in the fight against the spread of Covid-19  so we wanted to let you know what we are doing to support the recommendations from our professional health care providers and government leaders.

We have encouraged all of our employees to wash hands often, practice physical distancing and if they are experiencing any symptoms or unsure of whether or not they are infected to seek medical advice from their family doctors. We have also encouraged all staff to stay home and away from anyone or group most at risk at this time.

Farmers Team:

Rocksteady Coffee Co. values the team tremendously. We have worked to create a highly skilled and committed farm team who continue to work and harvest coffee.

Resilience & Production:

The demand for Rocksteady Coffee continues to increase despite the current fallout due to COVID-19 however due to the restrictions placed on air transportation to all major passenger airlines and other factors relating to the pandemic we will be placing a hold on manufacturing and distribution.

There is no interruption to harvesting at this time.

Rocksteady Coffee Co. expects to resume distribution by the end of July 2020 to replenish stock levels and make avilable -  Rocksteady “Reserve” and Rocksteady “Gourmet Blend”. 

Outreach:

Rocksteady Coffee Co. has donated farm produce such as green bananas, plantains oranges and lemons to local church groups in support of their outreach initiatives.
